All Things Hygiene (“we”, “us”) supplies hygiene and tissue products in South Africa. This notice describes how personal information is handled when you visit this website or contact us. For questions or privacy requests, email info@allthingshygiene.co.za.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we ask for your name, email address, enquiry category, subject and message. You may optionally provide a company name and telephone number. Our hosting provider may also receive technical details such as IP addresses, browser type, request times and security logs. Avoid sending payment card details, ID numbers or sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Why we use information
We use enquiry details to answer questions, prepare quotations, discuss products, arrange requested services, keep relevant business records, maintain website security and meet applicable legal obligations. Career-interest messages are used to respond to employment-related enquiries, not to guarantee vacancies. Referral enquiries may include an optional name of the person who recommended us; only provide a name with that person's permission. We will not treat a product enquiry as consent to receive unrelated marketing. Any future marketing subscription will require a separate process.
Sharing and international services
Access to enquiry information is limited to people who need it to respond or run the business. Email, hosting and other technical service providers may process information on our behalf. Google Fonts, social media links and other third-party website components may involve requests to external services, which may process data outside South Africa. We do not sell contact-form information.
Retention and safeguards
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including enquiries, customer relationships, disputes and legal recordkeeping. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards but no transmission over the internet is entirely risk-free. If the purpose has ended and the law does not require retention, information should be deleted or de-identified.
Your rights
Under applicable South African law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may ask what personal information we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, object to certain processing and raise a concern.
